Set WMV video quality first. WMV video quality value can be 1 (lowest video quality and highest compression) to 100 (best quality but least effective compression). You can also select "Change specified video parameters" option to set video size, bitrate, frame rate or aspect etc. All audio tracks in video file can be removed, this will significantly reduce file size. The settings are optional, you can close "Settings" section by clicking the "X" on the right.
You can drag multiple WMV files to the "Add Files" section. Each file can be up to 200 MB.
The batch compression automatically starts when files are uploaded. Please be patient while files are uploading or compressing.
The output files will be listed in the "Output Files" section. To compress all output files in a ZIP file, click "" icon on the right, then click "Add to ZIP". Windows Media Video (WMV) is a series of video codecs and their corresponding video coding formats developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Windows Media framework. WMV consists of three distinct codecs: The original video compression technology known as WMV, was originally designed for Internet streaming applications, as a competitor to RealVideo. The other compression technologies, WMV Screen and WMV Image, cater for specialized content.
The exclusive "Overall Video Quality" option on our website is inspired by "JPEG Quality" option in image compression. It's more intuitive than setting all kinds of video parameters such as video size, bitrate, frame rate or aspect etc.
