  1. Settings

Set MKV video quality first. MKV video quality value can be 1 (lowest video quality and highest compression) to 100 (best quality but least effective compression). You can also select "Change specified video parameters" option to set video size, bitrate, frame rate or aspect etc. All audio tracks in video file can be removed, this will significantly reduce file size. The settings are optional, you can close "Settings" section by clicking the "X" on the right.

About:

The Matroska Multimedia Container is a free, open-standard container format, a file format that can hold an unlimited number of video, audio, picture, or subtitle tracks in one file. It is a universal format for storing common multimedia content, like movies or TV shows. Matroska is similar in concept to other containers like AVI, MP4, or Advanced Systems Format (ASF), but is entirely open in specification, with implementations consisting mostly of open source software.

The exclusive "Overall Video Quality" option on our website is inspired by "JPEG Quality" option in image compression. It's more intuitive than setting all kinds of video parameters such as video size, bitrate, frame rate or aspect etc.
