How to compress MP3 files:
Set MP3 audio quality first. MP3 audio quality value can be 1 (lowest audio quality and highest compression) to 100 (best quality but least effective compression). You can also select "Change specific audio parameters" option to set audio bitrate and sample rate. The settings are optional, you can close "Settings" section by clicking the "X" on the right.
Drag multiple MP3 files to the "Choose Files" section. Each MP3 file size can be up to 200 MB.
The batch compression automatically starts when files are uploaded. Please be patient while files are uploading or compressing.
The output files will be listed in the "Output Files" section. To compress all output files in a ZIP file, click "" icon on the right, then click "Add to ZIP". You can right-click on file name and click "Save link as..." to save the file. MP3 (formally MPEG-1 Audio Layer III or MPEG-2 Audio Layer III) is a coding format for digital audio. In the aspects of MP3 pertaining to audio compression—the aspect of the standard most apparent to end-users (and for which is it best known)—MP3 uses lossy data-compression to encode data using inexact approximations and the partial discarding of data. This allows a large reduction in file sizes when compared to uncompressed audio.
The exclusive "Overall Audio Quality" option on our website is inspired by the "JPEG Quality" option in image compression. It's more intuitive than setting audio parameters such as audio bitrate or sample rate.
Aconvert.com is a sister website of Compresss.com, it focuses on converting files instead of compressing files.
